Their steaks either come from a ranch in Quenemo, Kansas (wet-aged bone-in ribeye) or Omaha, Nebraska (Imperial Beef Wagyu Kansas City Strip). They have a full bar with many crafty cocktails and a Sunday Brunch. #2 – Majestic

Inside the Historic Fitzpatrick’s Saloon Building lies one of the best steaks you can eat in Kansas City. If the history of the saloon doesn’t bring you back to the olden days, Jazz played by some of KC’s best local musicians should do the trick! The ambiance is just half of what Majestic has to offer; they boast some of the best meat cuts.

All their steaks are aged in town at L&C Meats. The steaks are all sourced from local producers, from herds of Hereford and Angus cattle. These are Kansas City Traditions for legendary steaks, and they are preserved today at The Majestic Restaurant.

Anton’s is located in Kansas City’s Crossroad Arts District. They boast the sustainability and integrity of the meat. Their Tilapia supply comes from in the restaurant, as one of their many efforts to create a sustainable restaurant. Working directly with local farmers is a mission they strive to achieve, and it shows in the food.

Sixty percent of the restaurant’s three-story structure is historical space, including the original women’s waiting room, the children’s waiting room, and the women’s smoking lounge. One of the cities favorite steaks is the coffee and ancho chili rub strip steak. This is the one that keeps people coming back. Private dining is available.

Jess and Jim’s is the place for you if you’re a steak-loving purist. The meat speaks for itself and, although no steakhouse has a unanimous vote, Jess and Jim’s has more than one local swearing that they serve the best cut in town.

Jess and Jims have a lunch menu that won’t break the bank and dinner options for people who aren’t the steak type. A person can enjoy a great steak in their dining rooms, but not the best in town. 7th on our list of the best Kansas City Steakhouse!
